Anthony Stalter at SCORES REPORT tips us off on the crazy girlfriend of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cedrick Wilson, who was cuffed and stuffed Sunday after a nearly 12-hour standoff with police.
WHPT-TV in Pittsburgh reports “the girlfriend of Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Cedrick Wilson is expected to be arraigned today on charges stemming from what police called an armed standoff on Saturday. Police say 26-year-old Lindsey Paulat of Tarentum is charged with aggravated assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly firing a handgun twice into a wall at Wilson’s Pine Township home on Saturday.
“Police say the incident began after Paulat and Wilson had an argument and he left the apartment. Police say the standoff ended when Paulat threw the gun from the front door about 12 hours after police arrived.”
Wilson’s neighbors are still wondering what the hell really happened. During the conflict, the neighborhood was evacuated, with 70 police officers, ambulances, fire trucks and a Swat team all called to the scene. All over one woman and a gun.
