PALM BEACH POST gossip Jose Lambiet has fresh intel today on Tiger Woods‘ alleged mistress, Rachel Uchitel.

Earlier this week, Rachel Uchitel (photos) claimed she had never met Ashley Samson, the woman quoted on the record in the NATIONAL ENQUIRER story linking Uchitel to Tiger Woods. The Enquirer today published two photos of Uchitel and Samson together:

AND in an ENQUIRER web exclusive, we’re publishing a photo showing Rachel partying with her friend Ashley on that recent trip to Spain.
Uchitel went so far as to call Samson “Ashley Simpson“ in denying she had any contact with the Enquirer’s main source.

Here are some new, previously unseen photos of Rachel Uchitel (photos), the woman who allegedly had an extramarital affair with Tiger Woods.

Today we found out that Woods and wife Elin Nordegren are refusing a police request for an interview until tomorrow.
Woods may be deliberately delaying talking to the police to avoid them seeing his injuries. If they are not consistent with his car crash, his wife could be charged with assaulting him. But if Woods does not speak to police before the 911 call is released tomorrow, he may not be able to spin how the call comes off to the public.
I still think Woods will show up to his golf tournament next week, to keep up appearances and satisfy the concerns of his sponsors. Hundreds of millions of dollars hang in the balance for the golfer, who makes his living on his trustworthy image.
TMZ reports Saturday morning that in a conversation with, “a non-law enforcement type“, Tiger Woods said that his wife Elin Nordegren caused his “facial lacerations“.
We’re told he said his wife had confronted him about reports that he was seeing another woman. The argument got heated and, according to our source, she scratched his face up. It was then Woods beat a hasty retreat for his SUV — but according to our source, Woods says his wife followed behind with a golf club.
As Tiger drove away, she struck the vehicle several times with the club.
We’re told Woods became “distracted,” thought the vehicle was stopped, and looked to see what had happened. At that point the SUV hit the fire hydrant and then hit a tree.

We’re also told Woods had said during the conversation Friday he had been taking prescription pain medication for an injury, which could explain why he seemed somewhat out of it at the scene.
If TMZ’s report is true, it confirms that Woods’ reported extramarital affair was the reason for his “accident” - and that Nordegren was anything but helpful in ensuring his well being. Read more…
The NEW YORK DAILY NEWS and Ryan Ballengee of the golf blog WaggleRoom.com report Saturday morning that Rachel Uchitel (photos), the woman the NATIONAL ENQUIRER reported this week was having an extramarital affair with Tiger Woods, has denied any such connection to Woods.

Uchitel in a Facebook message to the Daily News wrote, “There is NO relationship with tiger these girls quoted in the story are not being truthful. I did not say those things to those ’sources’ and im not friends with ashley simpson or whatever her name is.”
Ashley Samson, who was identified as a friend of Uchitel, supplied many of the claims made about Uchitel and Woods in the Enquirer’s report.
Uchitel spoke on the phone to Ballengee, and said she was interviewed for the Enquirer’s story about the affair, but that, “My quotes were not even run [by the Enquirer], their story was not even close to the conversation that we had.” Read more…

Windermere (FL) Police Chief Daniel Saylor confirmed today that Woods had a “domestic issue” with wife Elin Nordegren late Thursday night - 48 hours after the NATIONAL ENQUIRER published a story that Woods was having an extramarital affair with Uchitel.

Uchitel was described by the Enquirer as a “New York party girl“. From these photos, it doesn’t appear they were far off.

Earlier this week, the National Enquirer reported that Tiger Woods had an extramarital affair with a 34-year-old woman named Rachel Uchitel (photos). Today we got word from the Florida Highway Patrol and the Windermere (FL) City Police that Woods was involved in a car accident that was preceded by what Windermere Police Chief Daniel Saylor described as a “domestic issue” between Woods and wife Elin Nordegren.

Because the FHP embargoed information about the incident for 12 hours, and didn’t report it until after Woods was out of a local hospital, some media members began to make a connection between the report of the affair and the car accident.

Here’s what we know about Tiger Woods‘ apparent car crash - set against other important events currently taking place in his life.
The crash is reported to have happened at 2:30am ET. The Florida Highway Patrol did not release any info on the incident or Woods’ condition until 2pm ET, 11 1/2 hours later. By that time, Woods had already been released from the hospital in “good” condition.
Woods suffered the accident “pulling out of his driveway“. The airbags in his vehicle never deployed, so he was going under 33 mph. From the “crash” he reportedly suffered “facial lacerations”.
Woods is scheduled to make public appearances all next week at his personal golf tournament in the Los Angeles-area, the Tiger Woods Chevron Golf Challenge. His first public appearance at the Sherwood Country Club in Thousand Oaks, CA. is scheduled to take place Monday.

The NATIONAL ENQUIRER reported this week that Tiger Woods is cheating on his wife Elin Nordegren with 34-year-old New York City resident Rachel Uchitel.
The story places Uchitel at Woods’ Melbourne hotel when he was recently playing the Australian Masters. It also includes an on-the-record account of the relationship by Ashley Samson, an acquaintance of Uchitel.
There are three possibilities as to why Uchitel was at Woods’ hotel in Melbourne at the same time he reportedly was. She could be stalking him, meeting him for a tryst or it could be complete coincidence.
After initially lying about why she was in Australia, she admitted to an Enquirer reporter that she’d met Woods “twice” in her life, though she maintained she wasn’t there to meet him. But then why is she halfway round-the-world at his hotel in Melbourne?
From that, I think we can most likely rule out the coincidence possibility.
