TMZ.com has obtained the documents contained in today’s petition for the dissolution of marriage between Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren Woods.
The petition, which was subsequently approved by a judge in Panama City, Fla., today, does reveal details previously unknown regarding the couple’s parting.

Today Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren Woods appeared at the Bay County Circuit Court in Panama City, Fla., to legally finalize their divorce agreement.
McGuireWoods LLP, counsel for Nordegren and Sasser, Cestero and Sasser P.A., counsel for Woods, released the following statement after the official dissolution of the legal union:
“We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future. While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.
“Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being.
