Goalie Cracks Up Laughing At Memorial Service
The Hillsborough Disaster was the darkest moment in English soccer history. Ninety-six fans of Liverpool were crushed to death in a stampede 20 years ago this week. Basically, it’s the equivalent of Martin Luther King’s assassination; you just don’t joke about it.
So that’s why Liverpool goalkeeper Charles Itandje is in deep shite, after being filmed laughing and joking during a memorial service to commemorate the tragedy. He’s been suspended, and pretty much been told that he’s done at Anfield.
