When I was still in high school I played football, and let me tell you, I hated two-a-days in the summer. While most of my friends were spending their summers having a good time, I was out in the middle of a field in 90-degree temperatures wearing football pads and running around for five hours a day. It sucked. Now when you’re playing football in that kind of weather you need plenty of water to stay hydrated, and of course, when you drink a lot of water, you have to relieve yourself pretty often. Not that coach would let us. Which is why I’m so jealous of the guys at Texas Tech.
Yep, thanks to BOOTLEGGER SPORTS (via DR SATURDAY) we can all check out Texas Tech offensive linemen Chris Olson and Justin Keown of the Red Raiders who took a break from their spring game over the weekend to write their names on the walls. Or at least they tried to anyway, but this is Texas Tech after all, so they may not even know how.
As Matt Hinton pointed out at DR SATURDAY, at least we now know what caused Jones Field to be flooded last season.
