In Maryland Prep School Playoffs, It’s Jews On Ice!

When you think of Jews, you tend not to think of good athletes. And you certainly don’t think of ice hockey. But one school in Maryland is challenging those stereotypes.

Jewish Day School in Rockville, Md., was 10-0-1 and made the playoffs of the Maryland Scholastic Hockey League, in only its first year of fielding a team. And in true Jewish fashion, they did it without once playing a Friday night game or forgetting to call their mothers.
