The FIA is reintroducing Formula 2 to racing next year, and a resounding yawn comes from this country, which couldn’t care less about F1. But remember this: with European racing comes European women.
Meet Natacha Gachnang, who shows that women in Switzerland are a little more grown up than Heidi. The 21-year-old will enter F2, and I’m placing my bets now that she’s going to be the face of the league. And the torso of the league. If so, you’ll hear no complaints from me.
Gachnang has been driving competitively since she was 14, and finished third overall in Spain’s F3 Cup this year. So this isn’t Danica Patrick we’re talking about here; this is a talented driver.
