After a missed three-pointer away from a trip to the Final Four, Stephen Curry apparently feels he has some unfinished business to attend to.
The sophomore star of Davidson’s surprising Elite Eight run says he’ll be coming back to school next season. As for an early jump to the NBA, Curry responded, “I don’t think I’m ready.”
Curry’s decision could also affect the job status of his college coach.
Sources said that Bob McKillop has gotten the attention of the Rice Owls, as the Conference USA school “recently made a major play for him.” But with Stephen sticking around, it may be hard - nay, stupid, for McKillop to cut out from the small North Carolina college.
And if Davidson’s board of trustees can afford to send their students to the Sweet Sixteen all expenses paid, they can surely scrape together enough additional financial incentive to keep Bob from bolting.

I like this kid even more. Not necessarily for lining the pockets of a college instead of himself, but because he realizes he isn’t ready to be all that he can be in the NBA.
I think he has a bright future, and having a dad who played and made his fortune probably gives him more patience than some about his payday. Good for him for pushing himself as far as he can.
