Dallas Stars forward Steve Ott has been suspended indefinitely by the National Hockey League for his immediate post-game attack against Travis Moen of the Anaheim Ducks.
According to REUTERS CANADA, after the final whistle of Saturday’s 4-3 win by Anaheim in Dallas, Ott became involved in fisticuffs with a gaggle of the Ducks, including Moen - whom Ott apparently attempted to gouge the eye of. Video of the fracas after the jump.
After watching the clip, you’d think Ott was actually the one worse for wear, especially with the nice little bruise underneath his own eye. But the NHL has benched Steve for the time being until he has a hearing with league officials to determine his actual length of punishment.

It would appear Ott did the eye gouging after both players fell down. You can see Moen's legs squirm as he's laying down on the ice.

Ott got hit from behind by Giggy…stay in your net you goon…and Ott’s face everybody was effed up a couple games earlier so these cuts were not a result by Moen…He’s a puss and if Ott’s hand was never broken this year he would have worked him over.

Actually all the Stars need to do is get a winning streak together just like they did to get back in the play off picture and then they'll be in it. Now getting by the first round is a big question.
