St. Louis Rams Lineman Released From Team After Assaulting Wife

RAMS KICK O-LINEMAN OFF TEAM AFTER ASSAULT ARREST: On the subject of winless NFL teams, the St. Louis Rams have just lost a little more, as the club released a player who was recently arrested for assault:

Claude Terrell Rams

MY FOX HOUSTON reports that offensive lineman Claude Terrell was given his walking papers after being charged for attacking his wife.

Early Tuesday morning, police in Webster, TX, responded to a disturbance call at a local hotel, where they found a woman with “obvious signs of physical injury“. The woman said she was Terrell’s wife, and the player was soon found at a different hotel.

Terrell was booked for family violence assault. And it turns out it wasn’t the first time Claude took some swings at his familia. Terrell was already serving probation on a 2006 charge for “causing bodily injury to a family member.”

We’ve heard of the saying, “Relatives and fish stink after three days,” but that’s no excuse to batter them.
