Add BG Brooks, formerly of the aforementioned Rocky Mountain News, to the list of former reporters who work for the colleges he used to cover. Butch covered CU (the University of Colorado) for more years than I can remember, and now he is the mouthpiece of the CU Athletic department. The funny thing is/was, as a reporter, he constantly was getting scooped by the CU beat reporters over at the (Denver) Post.
