Got to watch most of a screamer of one of the originals of a genre of dead-pan parody humor flicks, like Leslie Nielson and Ms.Presley's "Loaded Weapon" series that also had OJ Simpson in it; much a poke at Mel Gibson and Danny Glover's "Lethal Weapon" series......(My understanding, is Yes there was a significant relation to Elvis) If you are a fan of this kind of humor, you've got to rent "Mafia", a film dedicated to Lloyd Bridges, originally the star of the 60's TV series, "Sea Hunt", as that was the last film he made.....Story of a coupla kids in poverty-stricken post-War Italy that become friends, emigrate to US separately, fall in love, and start a Family Mafia Clan......after a killing, the rest of the Family, under vow is each assigned a "Revenge Killing"....how each plans and does it is an absolute crack-up.....Surprise new star of this type of tongue-in-cheek humor ????
