One more thing on Singleton, before he got the White Sox radio gig, he did some stuff on ESPN Radio before, so I guess they liked him. But man, he’s hard to listen to. He’s gonna be exponentially worse on live TV.

He also worked a bit for TBS last fall, though, under rather tedious circumstances. He may prefer to announce games, which is taken at ESPN. I think Stone wanted to do an everyday job back in Chicago and not be stuck next to Eric Young & Orestes Destrade in Bristol.
