It is "sweeps" month after all. I can't think of a single reason why Merriman would even THINK about denying these allegations. Denying them lends them credibility. By not even acknowledging them, it makes her look more and more ridiculous. She has very little credibility to begin with, especially after she essentially lied about the incident a couple months ago. They’re giving her a platform because it’s a ratings bonanza for them.
