it's a pretty knee jerk reaction to say such money shouldn't be spent on a new arena. pick a shitty part of sac town (which is anywhere you look in that hole) and build the thing. the amount of small contractors hired for the arena alone would be seriously needed stim right now. not to mention all the business that would pop up in the immediate area around the place.

I live in Sacramento and they play ads here all the time for Carls Jr saying these guys have a net worth of 1 billion dollars. So spend some of that money on a new arena. They want the city to pay for it and they want all the credit and revenue as well. These guys are a joke for owners and are purposely tanking so that they can move and blame the lack of ticket sales, blah blah blah.

And I am not a Kings fan, just live here and have to hear about it all the time. This city is still bent about game 7.
