SHAQ’S WEIGHT-LOSS CHALLENGE FAILS TO GAIN VIEWERS: The MAYOR OF TELEVISION has the skinny on the ratings of the weight-loss reality show “Shaq’s Big Challenge”: They were as flat as a pancake:

Only 4.4 million estimated viewers were enthralled enough to see O’Neal chewing the fat while trying to trim it from the young’uns on his program.

However, it’s not all bad when you can score better than Steven Spielberg & the creator of “Survivor”. The duo’s “On the Lot” on Fox only got 1.29 million folks past the front gate. Apparently, fat kids make better TV than faux filmmakers.

So, stay tuned for the next exciting episode (if the show makes it that far), where Shaq invades the Florida capitol and the crew yells at the crowd to keep their posters down.
