Say what you will about Italians, but they’re A) good cooks, B) overly dramatic and C) eccentric. All of those things certainly apply, and B and C, in particular, are striking characteristics of Reggina defender Bruno Cirillo, who, according to RUMORS & RANTS, has already achieved most people’s goal — he’s a popular professional athlete — but wants to achieve another: He dreams of being a porn star.

That’s right, being an incredibly highly paid soccer professional isn’t enough for old Mr. Cirillo. When asked about his personal dreams by an Italian TV show called “Victory”, Cirillo admitted that it’s fun, but he’d rather be paid for doing things between the sheets. With cameras nearby, of course:

“He explained how one day he would like to take his passion seriously. Apparently he has the necessary ‘equipment’ to do so, as his teammates have nicknamed him ‘Dotato’ (‘Gifted’).”

“If my teammates call me this way, then it must be true,” Cirillo said.

Hmmm, gifted. His honesty is a gift.

And while Cirillo’s goals might draw aspersion from Italy’s more traditionally Catholic oriented fans, his honesty might earn him a nod of acceptance. When asked about fellow Serie A star Antonio Cassano, who claims to have slept with more than 700 women, Cirillo didn’t mince words in his criticism:

“I think it’s just a joke, I can only say that I have arrived over 20.”

Ouch. Well, he could bounce that number up a notch if he made headway into his next potential profession. And judging by the photo above, you know, maybe he really is “gifted.” That’s more that you can say about his finishing skills. Reggina isn’t exactly challenging for the Serie A title, and Cirillo’s lack of goal scoring isn’t helping matters.
