The agreement between the Saints & Louisiana called for $85 million dollars in upgrades to be done during the summer of 2010 & 2011. They specifically stated that the press box was to be moved to the terrace. Tagliabue/Goodell were the true drivers of keeping the team in the city by telling Benson that's how it was going to be...Higher ticket prices is fine. They're still VERY cheap relative to the league, and they did the right thing back in '05 by slashing prices after the storm. Raising them back up a little 5 years later is fine and fair. Displacing 1,200 ticket holders is not ideal, but it's life. And things would be MUCH more drastic if they ever built another stadium w/more higher priced seats. The Superdome offers a lot in terms of affordable seating for the average fan, we can't whine too much. Benson is trash, nobody in N.O. trusts him. That never happens! The sad truth is that without luxury boxes, there is no way that team would be able to stay in NO. The average fan has to realize that owners and a commisioners don't give a damn about them. They don't matter and will continue to get the shaft.
