At least the NCAA could have brought in some old school rappers - Run DMC, Digital Underground, Kool Moe Dee. Good point on the Latin flavor as well. It's obvious the weekend's entertainment wasn't designed with the players in mind. I suppose you could make an argument that their demographic isn't attending the Final Four, but I would disagree. Students of all the schools like Hip Hop and music other than red state rock. Not that I dislike Kid Rock, his show was fun. There should’ve been at least 2-3 Hip Hop acts. Good point on the Latin flavor as well.
