One hip-ho band is one too many.

Let's be real - who the hell wants to listen to that crap other than the players, who are unable to attend those events anyway. Why is this even news?

To be fair, The Roots aren't just strictly hip-hop - they're a hip-hop/rock/R&B combo with actual musicians.

At least the NCAA could have brought in some old school rappers - Run DMC, Digital Underground, Kool Moe Dee.

There should've been at least 2-3 Hip Hop acts. Good point on the Latin flavor as well.

It's obvious the weekend's entertainment wasn't designed with the players in mind. I suppose you could make an argument that their demographic isn't attending the Final Four, but I would disagree. Students of all the schools like Hip Hop and music other than red state rock.

Not that I dislike Kid Rock, his show was fun.

Yeah, welcome to S.A. You think they could've had maybe one or two less latin bands and thrown in some hip-hop.

Stand corrected, thanks. So there were about 50 bands that played, and one was Hip Hop.
