The Seahawks weren’t around until 1976, and even then they sucked ass for years. Guess what? Both things can be true. Steelers were flying high in the mid 70’s, so she could have adopted them as her favorite team. As the Seahawks improved, she warmed up to them as the closest franchise to Alaska. Seems pretty simple to me.

Hey Louis - isn’t that what Obama’s qualifications are, too? He’s hot, he’s popular. For no presidential nominee in living memory had the gap between adulation and achievement been so great. Which is why McCain’s Paris Hilton ads struck such a nerve. Obama’s meteoric rise was based not on issues but on narrative, on eloquence, on charisma.
What else? Oh yeah, he’s a community organizer with ties to terrorists and anti-American bigoted laymen. Excellent!
