San Francisco Giants Host Samson And Delilah At ATT Park

GIANTS GO FROM ONE FREAKISH STRONG MAN TO ANOTHER: Last weekend, the San Francisco Giants hosted a unique event at AT&T Park: A simulcast of the San Francisco Opera’s production of “Samson and Delilah” on the park’s 103-foot wide high-definition scoreboard.

The Giants’ MLB.com reports “nearly 3,000 people filled the seats behind home plate and snuggled down in the outfield to watch the opera with a little ballpark flavor. It was Budweiser and baritones, salty pretzels and sopranos, hot dogs and heroics for the ages under the starry night.
