After reading these comments, I'm just thinking, "Who are the real ignorant, hate-filled, insecure bigots here?" Another question would be, "If Mr. Tobow was displaying his sexual orientation proudly, or his political views, or his taste for stealing, drinking, or screwing around, would there be a single cry for him to not display his personal views or feelings?" That would be a violation of his rights wouldn't it? It would be considered politically incorrect, or hate speech or prejudice or some phobia. However, he appears to be a christian or at least he says he is, so therefore, we can assume he is a a self-promoting hypocrite who offends those who, in this days world do not tolerate his kind, so he should lay off the bible verses because we all know that's illegal here in the USA or better still he should just go over in the Philippines and abuse the children there in that "fly by night outfit his daddy runs." Tim Tibow lives before a big public eye and his actions show his heart. Some of the comments here show the contents of the hearts that moved the hands that typed them. Ignorance, jealousy, insecurity, bigotry, hatred, intolerance come in all shapes forms and sizes . . . even the anti-christian brand. When did we become a people who believes a young man should not openly display his faith and reveal his passion for a game he loves if he chooses to do so. Where is the tolerance and respect for all people including Tim Tibow? Final question to ponder- "Who gets to triage bigotry?" "A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" I am a life long BAMA fan who respects Tim Tibow and appreciates the refreshing example he is to countless young lives here in our Country! (They need all those they can get!) He happens to be a pretty good ball player too and his performance in the Sugar Bowl backed it up, at least it looked that way to me.

The SEC is a great football conference, but delivering outstanding individuals is not one of it's strengths. I would say for every 1 Tim Tebow, you have 10-20 Travis Henry's. Tim Tebow is not only a great football player and a great team leader, but a great human being. Why don't you all just appreciate what the kid is. As far as the NFL, I would take him on my team anyday, but it would only be a stop on his rise of being a special human being to so many more than just football fans.

let's not forget that tebow is also very YOUNG! maybe that accounts for some of his few minor mistakes at handling the inordinate attention he has gotten. in terms of class, i still say he smokes brooks. who IS brooks, anyway, and why is he an "expert".

the "punk" or "pussy" here is obvious.

I'm waiting for T-bow tears when the media gets wind of his lurid co-ed behavior. There are a few bible verses that apply to his fornicating follies that need tattoing on his backside.

Overrated showboat.

Timeh Tebow has benefited from the best supporting cast in NCAAFB for three years. He's a really good player, and nothing more.

He has used his celebrity for self promotion in the most nauseatingly immature and self grandizing manner.

He is now yesterday's news. He will not be a superstar in the NFL. At best he will have a modestly successful, 2 to 3 year career with a team who needs a hybrid skill player. At worst he will be performing more circumsitions on Phillipino boys in that creepy missionary outfit his Dad runs.

We lost to Florida in this game last year. I don't recall JPW crying like a pussy with 4 minutes left on the clock.
