Rugby Reporter Attacked Live On Air During Post-Game Wrap-Up

RUGBY RUBES ROUGH UP REPORTER ON-AIR AFTER MATCH: What’s with the folks in rugby these days? First, a club player is arrested for leaving his 2-year-old daugher in the car while he visited a brothel. And now, a reporter who was doing a post-game wrap-up was suddenly attacked by a couple of thugs:

Rugby Reporter Attacked

The SYDNEY MORNING HERALD and BREITBART TV report that Ben Davis of Australia’s Seven Network was finishing a story outside of Melbourne’s stadium, when a man flew in and tackled him to the ground, while a second began punching him in the back of the head.

Viewers at home saw the on-air grab, but not the continued assault afterwards, as a studio host explained, “Our apologizes, we won’t get back to Ben, there’s some idiotic fans have ruined the whole thing out of Oylmpic park.”

Davis was rightfully flustered by the tackle, telling the offender, “Mate, do I come into your workplace and tackle you and carry on like a goose?” In response, 3 to 4 more blokes showed up and began beating on the reporter.

Melbourne police have talked with Davis and been studying the videotape in order to get a good I.D. on the hooligans.

Above is a good look at one of the masterminds. Note the intelligent expression and the wanton desire to lick the reporter’s ear.

And you though the Black Hole at Raiders games were bad. At least they have sense enough not to touch Tony Siragusa.
