As we await the 2009 SI Swimsuit Issue, I’ve now confirmed at least two athletes who will be appearing in the issue: Russian tennis players 21-year-old Maria Kirilenko and and 20-year-old Tatiana Golovin.

Both are credible players, with the oft-injured Golovin ranked as high as #12 this year, and Kirilenko #18. But neither has even sniffed a Grand Slam title. (Not that it matters of course.)

Based on the fact that she’s dating Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri, it appears Golovin has a little famewhore in her. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
Kirilenko has modeled for adidas’ Stella McCartney collection (wot?) and appeared in TEEN VOGUE. She’s also close friends with Maria Sharapova:

From her photos, I’d say Kirilenko’s considerably hotter than Golovin. But both are certainly enjoyable to look at.
Also safe to say: Golovin and Kirilenko’s pics will be considerably hotter than SI’s previous shoots with Maria Sharapova and Serena Williams:

Coming from a huge tennis fan, Golovin is the hottest to ever play the game, next to Anna Kournikova. She's significantly better looking than Kirilenko, which is saying something. There are a lot more pics of her on her officia website, which I linked.

Golovin is not a slut..at all. Those were tabloid errors. She is in love with Nasri just as much as Maria is in love with her boyfriend, ATP player, Igor Andreev.

Tati's got a cute smile and loves to pose for slutty pics, as shown above. She also likes to show a ot of her body with tiny outfits… This makes many guys forget about her fat legs, low hips and terrible nose… To have her win this poll is ridiculous, honestly…
Kirilenko's much cuter and genuinely beautiful, but she's never done such trashy photoshoot. You could have used plenty of better pics for her, she did some photoshoots in great dresses, e.g….

Obviously “hahaha” is blind.
She has muscular legs, a very popular, cute nose (check youtube :D), and her hips are amazing.
