So not only will he not play in HIS OWN TOURNAMENT, he won't even be there. He will not show his face in public again until every single cut, bruise and injury he sustained in this ugly altercation is completely healed. By him not even showing up at HIS OWN TOURNAMENT, there can be no doubt he was on the receiving end of a violent beating by his wife. In the circumstances he found himself in, only telling THE TRUTH from the start would have minimized the damage. Instead, he chose to show his true colors and engage in lies. This strategy of deception will lead to maximum damage. His word and name now mean nothing to me. Does he think we are all morons? Instead of being concerned and apologetic to the fans involved he kept his eye on the ball and then very coldly got his club back, barely looking or blinking an eye at the fans who were in the line of fire of his club. That disgusted me for the last time. And the interviewer at the end felt compelled to ask him if he had fun playing. I'm over him. The buzz has gone. It's been a great ride since 1996. It peaked at the 2000 US Open (unbelievable!). But no more. I will no longer be staying up thru the night to watch him play live in China, Japan, or Australia. Highlights will now suffice. And his condescending, arrogant, elitist behavior in what clearly is a domestic dispute gone violent just confirms for me what Ashdex said. His fame and fortune has turned him into one huge Royal Prick. Jack (my boyhood idol) reigns supreme forever!
