TMZ reports today:
Tiger Woods‘ wife, Elin Nordegren, changed the story she told the first officer on the scene, according to law enforcement sources.

The story police gave the media about Nordegren “helping” Woods out of the vehicle by smashing out the back window with a golf club? Reportedly completely bogus.
We’ve learned Nordegren told a very different story to the Florida Highway Patrol, and it does not involve going back in the house for a club. Our sources will not allow us to be more specific. And we’ve learned there was no blood found on the steering wheel of Tiger’s SUV — putting into serious doubt that Tiger sustained his injuries from the crash.
So if this report is true, why hasn’t the FHP reported it to the public to clear up the confusion of what happened? More importantly, with this knowledge, why is the FHP telling the media it will not investigate this incident as a domestic dispute?
Now I know why the 911 call hasn’t been released nor Woods’ vehicle been made available for public viewing - the FHP, Tiger and the Windermere police all need time to get their stories straight.
If you’re a company, with all of this nonsense swirling, would you want Woods’ endorsing your product going forward?

Me thinks the wife and Tiger had an argument ( about this alledged affair, what do WE know? ) which led her to chase him and in order to escape her wild swings of the golf club, he got into his SUV and in the process, she smashes the window out!

If alcohol, drugs and speed wasn’t a part of this incident (and it wasn’t), what more needs to be invistigated? Domestic dispute? That is their problem, unless she was trying to kill him.
The other woman - if you will read about her, she has been in the public eye with different married men in the past (in my eyes - not a good reputation). Enquirer puts two different photos together - this DOES NOT mean that he was having an affair.
If you live in the public eye, you must expect your name to be thrown into every “evil” situation there is and his wife needs to step up to the plate and understand that Tiger or anyone else is not always guilty.

How funny is this story? For years I have watched Tiger be criticized for not talking to the press and when he did talk people said how guarded he was and he never opened up but was very careful about what he said. I have watched the not so subtle racist remarks, the envy and jealousy directed towards a man who can make more money in one year than most people could in a lifetime and is married to a (Gulp) WHITE MODEL. Until this incident came along all Tiger did was win and win and win.
But the racist sharks are out there looking for blood. He was criticized for saying f%$# when he hit a bad shot and it was over heard. Gee- nobody in the world would ever curse when they flubbed a shot-especially when there were millions of bucks on the line. Even other black athletes such as Jim Brown (He’s O.K though.- when he has an argument with a woman he throws them through a window) has said that Tiger does not do much good for the black community. So despite the millions of dollars he gives the Woods foundation and the fact that millions of kids, both white and black revere him and have taken up golf because they saw him on television, people still find fault with him.
I noticed that this was not a case of abuse, (see Jim Brown) and no one other than Tiger was injured and there was no alcohol or drugs or animal cruelty involved but look how many people took the chance to tell that uppity N$%^&* that he was just like them-married to a huge slob, working in a dead-end job, driving a Chevy Nova and making a world tour to Disney. One racist dummy wanted to bring up Obama as though he and Tiger had the same job.
And I found this crap on Faux news where they LOVE African- Americans, they have so many of them on their shows.
I am 74 and I remember in the 60’s when I was playing drums at a Palm Springs hotel. I was a spectator at the Bob Hope tournament and I talked with Lee Elder (the first black to play in the history of the Masters tournament) who was in the tournament, about some other black golfers I knew.
I invited him to come to the hotel lounge and hear the band I was playing in.Later I told the hotel manager that I had invited Lee Elder to come over for a drink and he told me that if Lee did come over I would not have a job the next day.

Sorry, but if Tiger wants to make big money by selling the image that he’s a devoted father and husband, he has no business screwing around. It shows particularly bad judgment that he did it with such a well-known skank - all the photogs and smut journalists know her on sight because of her multiple affairs with other married celebrities. Tiger should get himself checked out for social diseases, as should his wife since he’s been dipping his quill in foreign ink wells.
This is not a private affair. It if it happened inside the house, yes. But, his SUV ran into a fire hydrant, which is public property, and apparently ended up in the public street. Also, his wife was wielding a weapon against him, so there are definite law violations here. I say hurrah for Elin - I love her choice of using the golf club against him, very ironic. He’s lucky she didn’t club him in the head. What a dog - she delivers his son a few months ago and he rewards her by screwing around with a skank. What a dog!

I’m so tired of the news hounds going after the reputation of public figures. Allow these two people to work this out by themselves.
