Report: Kiffin Commits 1st NCAA Violation At USC

Lead story from WBIR-TV in Knoxville on Saturday:

Lane Kiffin's 1st NCAA violation at USC

Report: Kiffin commits secondary violation: Lane Kiffin has only been the USC head football coach for 10 days and has already committed his first secondary violation.

If true, that was fast!

Kris Budden of WBIR adds:

Volquest.com is reporting that the former Vols football coach picked up a recruit from the airport in a limo.

Kiffin committed six secondary violations while at Tennessee.

Might be a good idea for Kiffin to watch his backside this weekend.

I swear my son, if I ever have one, would never play for Lane Kiffin, I don’t care if it is USC. He’s a snake!!!

    Is anyone surprised by this?

Ironically, the media in Knoxville was never as quick to report the violations Lane made while in Knoxville. If the Vol fans keep this up, they’re going to do the impossible and make Lane a sympathetic figure.

I can certainly see why Kiffin wanted U$C and vice-versa. It’s obvious that neither one minds cheating.

How any parent could agree to send their kid away to be molded for four or five years by a sack of slime like Lane Kiffin is utterly inconceivable to me. But I guess money is all that’s important to some people, and no doubt he’ll get plenty of good players at U$C.

I hope the NCAA absolutely drops the hammer on U$C and voids their bogus 2004 national championship that they won with paid players. They’ve been paying their best players for years.

Is there really that little to do in Tennessee? The first step is acceptance, people.

wasn’t impressed with him before. not now. You ever wonder why a recruit like the recruit brown from now tennessee came up with the idea he would not have a good shot at the pros at running back if he went to Oregon. (I guess jonathan stewart didn’t stand a chance either). its because kiffin lies to his recruits

Maybe it’s because nobody in the nation thinks Oregon is very good. Silly hippy fans are the only ones talking about how the Oprah holes are national contenders every year. Maybe good recruits don’t seek out Spewgene because they are required to knit a new uniform before every game. Go back to shrooming.

Fans of both schools appear to have the level intellect seldom found outside the hills of Arkansas and adjoining states; American Taliban, ie. conservative fundamentalists.

Because we all know that the ’smartest’ people live in places like the NE, places like the Jersey Shore, south Boston, MA, etc.

With Kiffin and “slick Rick” in La both schools will be on probation or worse soon.

OK, we get it Vol Fans. You hate Lane for bolting after only one year- can’t really blame you. But, really? Riots, YouTube videos, etc.. all the hatred is amazing. Let’s be honest- you never really liked his sun kissed hair and his boyish good looks. He was too pretty for you. You did like his smak talk of UF & Urb, and how he had the Vols in both the Bama & Gaytor games.

But get over it! He is gone! You’re happy, he’s happy, and those of us in the Pac-10 are happy! As a Cal season ticket holder I’m excited to have USC place 5th in the conference and now have Pete Carroll leave.

Lane Kiffin cant hold Pete Carroll’s second iPhone with all the booster contacts in it as a coach.

Vol fans- learn to love Dooley. Chances are he wont be there too long anyway. AD Hamilton is too impatient and will can him after 3 years to bring in the “hot” coach du jour.

I am sorry to see the Knoxville news reporting on such a minor story. Everyone in Vol land is sitting on their honches waiting and hoping for Lane to fail, get sanctioned by the NCAA, indicted in criminal court, or just flat knocked out or knocked off. I was impressed with the enthusiasm he brought or the moxy to Tenn. but unimpressed with his coaching, ie, Florida and Va Tech. We need to move on in Knoxville to the positive and that is next year with Dooley.

Do you fools really think Lane would do that with the whole world watching his every move?

It was a Lincoln Town Car. It is what USC uses to pick up all their recruits at the airport, and is 100% acceptable.

Don’t let the truth get in the way of your bitch session however.

By the way, they were going to use a Lexus Limo, but Lane crashed it the night before.

What is this guy thinking? He better keep his a*s straight while coaching at USC. He needs to stop doing stupid things, or get his stupid a*s out of there. We do not need to lose W’s or sacrifice the players’ time while at USC. No more screwing up. Garrett better had written in a condition regarding his (Kiffin’s) violations practices. One more and he’s out. Please say Garrett did this.

For all you PAC10 fans slamming Volquest for reporting this, you should know a little something about what you’re talking about first. Volquest also reported most of Kiffin’s 6 violations when he was at TN and Vols fans loved him! You all are the ones that should stop the blind, ignorant, uninformed attacks on Vol fans! This is relative news for Volquest, because the player in question is said to be Markeith Ambles, who was UT’s highest profile commit.
