Jameson Has ‘Torn Ligament’ From Ortiz Incident

Monday morning MMA Fighter Tito Ortiz was arrested in Huntington Beach, CA., on suspicion of felony domestic violence after he was accused of “throwing down” his live-in girlfriend Jenna Jameson.

After Ortiz was hauled off to an Orange County, CA., jail, Jameson, while wearing a large bandage on her right arm, repeatedly told the paparazzi that she was planning to press charges against the father of her twin, 13-month-old baby boys.

(TMZ.com reports Ortiz has posted bail and been released)

But RadarOnline.com reports Monday that she’s apparently had a change of heart.

Jenna Jameson says she’s “going to work it out for the sake of the kids.”

America’s most famous adult video star called police in Huntington Beach on Monday complaining of domestic abuse from her live-in boyfriend Tito Ortiz.

She and the UFC fighter have twins together. Ortiz is expected to be released on bail soon, which she says “is good.”

It appears to be a change of heart because Jameson says she filed a restraining order against the fighting champ.

It isn’t immediately clear if  “work(ing) it out for the sake of the kids” means that Jameson will go back on her plan to press charges against Ortiz. It may not matter though. Thanks to the apparent injury to Jameson’s right arm, local authorities may prosecute Ortiz even if she doesn’t participate in the case against her boyfriend.

FOXNews.com also reports today of Ortiz:

According to court records, the UFC star was sentenced to jail time back in 1998 (before he became famous) after pleading guilty to charges of “battery with serious bodily injury.”

The case (which was filed under the birth name Jacob Christopher Ortiz) went to trial in the Orange County Superior Court and Ortiz was sentenced to three years probation, 29 days in jail and 232 hours of community service.

Los Angeles Criminal Defense Attorney James Blatt said that local authorities in Ortiz’s current case will take into account his prior record and Jameson’s injuries.

“If it’s a felony, he has the potential of 16 months, two years, or three years in prison. If it’s a misdemeanor, he’s up for one year in the county jail.”

TMZ.com reported earlier Monday that Ortiz’s deal to fight for the UFC could be in jeopardy:

(UFC President Dana) White says, “We’re gonna be fair, but we could cut him.”

White wants to wait until the police reports are in, but the UFC can take action even before the legal process runs its course.  “Other than going on a killing spree, being accused of domestic violence is the worst thing you can have going for you,” White says.

UPDATE (9:07p ET): RadarOnline.com has a report on Jameson’s injuries:

Adult video star Jenna Jameson has emerged from the doctor’s office with a sling, and is suffering from a torn ligament, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The 36-year-old did a costume change and got a black sling that matched her outfit. She went to Memorial Prompt Care in Huntington Beach for x-rays. She told RadarOnline.com that she now needs to go to the orthopedic surgeon for more tests.

Jameson, who said the couple’s baby twins did not witness the alleged altercation, said she will not allow Ortiz to come home today - though he has been released from jail.
