Ref As Tackling Dummy During High School Game

Some fun video today of an official getting flattened by Sweet Home High School running back Deshanaro Morris during New York State’s Section VI Class A championship.

Official gets trucked in New York State High School Football Game

(License plate: Offici-h8)

The game, held at the Bills’ Ralph Wilson Stadium, featured five TDs from Morris in a 39-19 victory over Iroquois.

The BUFFALO NEWS had an account of the game, which included Morris saying,”One man can’t stop me. That’s what I’m thinking when I run.”

Ya think? (Video after the jump.)

If only that official had studied film before the game:

Jimmy Traina at SI.com reports the official in the high school game wasn’t injured. At least physically.

And with that, the Gamecocks get their revenge.

Wonder if the high school ref is related to the yesterday's hockey ref sprawled out on the ice.

That high school runner must have been a cousin of the South Carolina QB, defending the honor of his family.
