Creighton: “It’s really quite jarring for Red Sox fans now to have to deal with success, and it might be repeated Once could be a fluke, getting rid of the curse … But twice? This is very challenging and, to a degree, upsetting.“The dusty old bat professor lives up to the cliche that losing defines the Red Sox and their faithful, and that winning the W.S. again is sure to have a “jarring” effect on them. In other words, will Bosox fans be able to handle a second win “with a degree of humility.”
Now if we can only find the professor teaching “Raider Nation” at Stanford - and get her opinion on the regrettable firing of Art Shell.
