PERHAPS PARIS CAN HELP BOSOX CEO WITH TRASH PICKUP: The BOSTON HERALD reports Red Sox President & CEO Larry Lucchino, COO Mike Dee and Exec VP of Public Affairs Dr. Charles Steinberg “were spotted in the stands picking up trash” between games of the team’s doubleheader yesterday against the Tigers.

Lucchino, who is part of the “Clean Team,” said, “Almost every member of the front office team joins in on these special efforts.”

While that sounds like a cool story, Lucchino’s quote about it makes you wonder if they would be doing that if reporters weren’t around to record the event. Harkens me to Hollywood celebrities visiting starving children in Africa.
