SOX FANS FUME OVER BILL’S BUCKS: BOSTON magazine has a piece lamenting Bill Buckner cashing in on his ‘86 goof that opened the door for the Mets World Series win.

Don’t blame Buckner, it isn’t his fault that New York contains so many sorrowful saps, who are willing to part with beaucoup buckaroos for a meaningless scrap of paper that contains his autograph - accompanied by Mookie Wilson’s scrawl.

And don’t think if the roles were reversed, that pathetically-obsessed Sox fans wouldn’t be shelling out thousands for similarly irrelevant memorabilia.
