I live in Tampa, and it takes me 45 minutes to get to the game. It's not the stadium, trust me. That's the best hope for the Rays long-term. In the short term, the Rays do get 30,000+ crowds a few times a month. Winning will do that! Keep in mind, many of the best Rays are locked into multi-year deals... and the team doesn't need to trade to get better. The Rays will add to their payroll next season, as better players want to sign with a winning team. I hope they build that new outdoor stadium on the St. Pete waterfront.
