My bad Kent. I should have researched it better rather than give a knee-jerk retort to an obviously agendized op-ed piece. Wow. I made a mistake, I guess that makes me human also. Just like the kids who had kids and are just trying to help inform other kids about the burden and responsibility.
Hey ManRam-Thank you for your objectivity and your conviction.
It's nice to hear from people who aren't afraid to speak-up and aren't bullied or swayed by this ever growing culture of narrowmindedness that's now running rampant today.
What this coutry needs now more than ever is better morals and values. Especially those that made us the country that every other country ran to when they had a problem they couldn't solve. We are the world's conscience.
We can't forget the principles we were founded upon.
And Charlie-What do you have against the Palin's. Not that I'm sensitive about it, but I kinda want to know what drove you to type that. Don't forget to give good facts to the point…….unlike the erroneous ones I gave in my first post in this thread. Do you really know why you say, what you say? Just wondering.

Hey Charlie, I bet you are a joke too. I have advice for you that is worthwhile, don't procreate because the world is already full of enough morons. Sometimes you can give the "do as I say not as I did" speech, people have moments where they actually make mistakes.

You guys are missing the point which is typical of the closed-minded idiots that get their jollies on making fun of Christians. What is wrong with bringing in people who have experienced the situation? I would rather hear someone talk about the harmful effects of drug or alcohol abuse from a person who has experienced it and can tell me first hand instead of someone who has never been around it.
So what if they made a mistake? You guys act as if Christians can't make mistakes when they are human and are going to. They are not telling people if you have a child when you are a teenager you are going to hell! God forbid we actually try to help young people not dramatically alter their life when they are so young and immature. I am 28 and have a 5-month old and I am sometimes overwhelmed; I can't imagine what teenagers are going through. However, thanks for reminding how many Americans thank we should rid ourselves of morals and values that, for most people, make us better human beings.

Give me some facts please.
What they are doing is letting kids know about the reprecussions of their actions are if they decide to have unprotected sex and end up getting pregnant.
They aren't promoting not having sex.
They are giving them examples as to how they are now accountable and responsibile for something greater than they are. Duh, I know.
In other words, look before you leap.

I'm not surprised by the Sec-Pro tenor of the article or op-ed piece, whichever it is.
I'm just guessing here, but the piece was written by a guy name Barry Petchesky.
