Raging Belle: London’s EVENING STANDARD introduces Charles Jones, an Englishman who bills himself as the world’s first openly gay boxer.

Boxing has a rich tradition of nicknames and Jones is no exception. The Balham native is better known as "The Pink Pounder."

Ken Rosenthal of THE SPORTING NEWS on Jose Canseco’s charge that MLB players used steroids: "Don’t focus on the messenger, focus on the message. We know 5-7% of MLB players have been known to use steroids. Clearly someone’s doing it. The denials are laughable."

Canseco’s appearance on CBS’ "60 Minutes" also featured his new surgically-altered nose, along with a lipstick n’ makeup job that’d make Michael Jackson blush (if he still could).
