TONY ROMO HEARS MEXICANS MAKE AMNESTY XTRA POINT: Rachel Smith was named fourth runner-up at
Donald Trump’s escort service last night’s Miss Universe pageant in Mexico City.
It was a tough night for Smith, who fell during the evening wear competition and the ASSOCIATED PRESS reports “when she came up to answer the question asked of her by judge Tony Romo, members of the crowd at Auditorio Nacional in Mexico City booed her loudly. Smith retained her composure.”
Nice to see the Mexicans using the Miss Universe pageant to make an extra political point as our politicians consider granting amnesty to 12 million illegal aliens in short order.
The AP reported the boos were because “Mexico has a fierce rivalry with its northern neighbor.”
I live in Los Angeles and I can tell you a “fierce rivalry” with Mexico is news to me. A more accurate description of the feelings of our Third World neighbors to the south would be a fierce jealously.
REUTERS meanwhile reported the bizarre protest of Smith as “a handful of Mexicans booing Smith in the run-up to the finals because of what they saw as U.S. unfriendliness toward illegal immigrants.“
