Aloha Stadium started rusting before construction was completed. Yes, that stadium should be replaced with something more modern.

A sliding roof would be nice, too.

But I doubt the Hawaii Legislature has the courage or budget to fund a new stadium, with tourism and tax revenues declining as they have during 2008.

Everbody look, then laugh, at Warren Maple Sapp. He can't read!FTFA: "Also, players involved in the Super Bowl and Conference Championship games will be held out, allowing for a wider variety of participants."

Moving the Pro Bowl before the Super Bowl? What a stupid concept. Both Super Bowl-bound teams are not going to let their Pro Bowlers play & risk injury before the championship game.

UH would love a new stadium, especially with the crappy revenue deal (concessions, parking, etc.) they already have with the state in regards to Aloha Stadium.

And it would be a shame to miss out on the chance to see NFL stars coming over to the islands.
