Presidential Hopefuls Fill March Madness Brackets

Well, two out of three, anyway. Barack Obama and John McCain had UNC winning in their brackets. As for Hillary Clinton, well, she’s not filling one out, for fear of irking potential voters.

Obama, Clinton, McCain, brackets, and you

Senator McCain, you might’ve heard, gained some attention by challenging supporters to beat him in a pool, with the hopes of winning great prizes like … McCain campaign merchandise! Stuff they’re probably handing out for free at rallies. Yeah!

McCain’s Final Four, by the way, because we know you care: North Carolina, UConn, Memphis, and Kansas.

Senator Obama, meanwhile, potentially filled out his bracket sometime in between an interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper:

Barack Obama's bracket?

(The Audacity Of Duke)

As for Hillary’s basketball predictions, her straight talk fails in this regard:

“Oh gosh, I don’t know,” she said at a campaign stop in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, on March 18. “I have to consult with my basketball adviser, my husband.”

Matt McKenna, a spokesman for the former president, said, “We’re going to pass.”

Shenanigans, Mr. President. You’re a cold-blooded American, and as much a dude as the rest of us. You do too have a bracket. Spill it.

If Hillary doesn’t win the Midwest Region and the South Region, she has to drop out of the race.

Hillary’s reasoning for not participating says all you need to know about her.
