The CLEVELAND PLAIN DEALER reports that Brady Quinn has been accused of using a gay slur in a confrontation with a group of men outside a Columbus, Ohio, bar on New Year’s day.
Excerpt: “Cleveland Browns quarterback Brady Quinn was part of a group of men shouting insults at gay passers-by outside a Columbus bar early on New Year’s Day, according to a 9-1-1 call made to police.“
The story of what happened that night is a little confusing, and the Plain Dealer has a dramatic 911 call as part of its report about the incident involving Quinn. But after reading the account of the events, it’s clear that Quinn wasn’t one of the main protaganists. That said, he was accused of using a gay slur at the scene. If that’s true, it would be rather ironic.
Quinn has posed shirtless for a multitude of magazines which leads one to believe that his gay male following is rather large. We’re guessing that’s something Mr. Quinn prefers not to think about.
