Near the completion of every academic quarter, the studious students of the University of California at Los Angeles try to shake off the stress of their studies by participating in a mass midnight jog around their Westwood campus. Such a traditional trot is known as the UCLA Undie Run.

Luckily, LAIST has compiled a photo essay of the semi-nude saunter. And we’ve gone one better by offering some of the hotter highlights of the risque run. Further pics that will pique your interest are after the jump.

This year’s run was reportedly the biggest one yet, as “It took just under 20 minutes for the thousands of students to get through the Strathmore tunnel.”

Sounds like a euphemism for sex. Then again, what doesn’t?

Apparently, police in riot gear were on the scene, but the most violent uprising law enforcement had to deal with was a water balloon fight.
