WLKY-TV has some nasty photos the station reports are injuries suffered by the stepfather of the girlfriend of Louisville basketball player Preston Knowles.
Knowles admitted issuing a beatdown to the man last Sunday to police but said it was in self-defense.
According to a police report, Bullitt County sheriff’s deputies were called to a Shepherdsville home Sunday around 9 p.m. after a verbal argument between Knowles and his girlfriend escalated.
Police said the girl’s stepfather intervened in that verbal altercation and blows were exchanged between Knowles and the girl’s stepfather. The stepfather was struck in the left eye.
WHAS in Louisville adds:
Detective Scotty McGaha says Knowles and his girlfriend got into an argument over a hairbrush and the girl’s stepfather intervened.

Police said the stepfather received minor injuries. He has been referred to the county attorney’s office to make a statement on misdemeanor assault.
“In this case, the victim’s stepfather was referred to the county attorney on what we call misdemeanor assault. He has some minor injury,” McGaha said.
WLKY was sent a picture of the man’s injuries at 9:50 p.m. Sunday. Police said that’s the night the stepfather was injured. WLKY received a second picture the next day.
No one was arrested or has been charged in this incident.
Certainly not a laughing matter.
But if someone is going to be arrested in Kentucky for abuse stemming from a hairbrush, I think police already have their hands full.

The Oil spill is also the responsibility of BP Oil so it is their responsibility first and foremost before the gov’t can even step in. There would be a lot of (silly) legal ramifications to just sending Federal help in to a privately held area. If it were a natural disaster the Feds would be first in the line of responsibility. It’s the same thing as the Exxon spill in Alaska before. Or like Toyota’s faulty brakes, sure its happening to Americans and the suffering is deplorable but it isn’t the American government’s responsibility to clean it up. Nice try though but can’t blame this on Obama

that is so stupid i cant even believe you would type it. Local officials are first, then county, then state, then federal “WHEN ASKED”.
the federal govt has to be asked. “good ol’ louisiana swamp water” woman was the failure more than anyone. she essentially refused federal help for a week.
