Those fans with tickets for Game Three will now be able to use them only for Sunday’s game at 8:07 p.m. (MT). Those fans with tickets for Game Four will be able to use them for Monday’s game. The game time for Monday’s game will be announced prior to the start of Sunday’s Game Three. Game Five, if necessary, will still be played on Tuesday at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia.
I get the horrible weather Colorado is enduring, but I’m wondering about the late start on Sunday (low of 29!). Colorado shouldn’t be playing any days games at this time of year. Zero.
Not only does it cause severe discomfort to fans, but it impairs the quality of baseball. Tail wags the dog, weather completely takes over the game. Ridiculous.
One more reason to shorten the season or move the playoffs to a warmer, neutral site location - as Peter Gammons has been talking about for years now.
Okay, forget the neutral sites - SHORTEN THE DAMN SEASON.

Right now, as I look out my Denver window, it’s not snowing. Of course, it’s about 25 degrees outside, but the Rox have played home games when the wind chill was in the single digits without postponement.
Methinks the reason why the game is @8PM tomorrow night is because of the Broncos/Patriots game played @2:15. The two stadiums aren’t that far apart on I-25, and no one really wants that much traffic getting out at around the same time.
