IGGLES FANS STOP BY TO REMEMBER THE ALAMO(DOME): Some unexpected visitors showed up during the Dallas Cowboys training camp,

Five folks adorned in Philadelphia Eagles attire arrived at the Alamodome in San Antonio, where the ‘Boys were holding an open practice.

KDFW-TV in Dallas was able to catch up with the intruders. Were they doing some spying on their NFC East rivals? Were they checking up on ol’ buddy Terrell Owens? Did they get lost on the way to the Riverwalk?

One of the Iggles fans explained, “We came down here to see if they learned how to kick an extra point yet.” And the group knew their presence would be upsetting to former Eagle Owens - not because of bad memories, but as they said, “We’re getting all of T.O.’s camera time.”

The Dallas faithful were not amused, booing and chanting “Eagles Suck!” But the Philly Five were undaunted, concluding their TV interview with the old & loud standby, “E-A-G-L-E-S, Eagles!”

On an interesting side note - a story about the visit from Excite Sports lists the Cowboys fans’ chant as “Eagles (Stink)!” Could it be that another sports website has fallen prey to overreactive censorship? Has ’suck’ officially joined George Carlin’s Seven Dirty Words?
