Eagles Cheerleaders To Cheer Up Troops in Iraq

The Philadelphia Eagles cheerleaders are true American heroines. Not only are they saving the environment one bikini at a time, the gorgeous gals will soon be shipping out to entertain our fighting forces overseas.

(The fab five who are heading to the Middle East)

CBS 3 in Philadelphia rah-rahs the news that five Eagles girls have been selected to travel to Iraq, where they’ll tantalize the troops with a specially- produced routine. (To find out what it is, go to your nearest Army recruiting center. They’d love to have you!)

In addition to packing their pom-poms, the Eagles gals will also be bringing along over 1,000 letters from Philly-area students showing support for those serving our nation. (The Eagles are also giving fans an opportunity to leave their own well-wishes to the troops on the team’s website.)

The ladies are scheduled to leave for their 12-day trip on Sunday. And for one cheerleader, it will be more than just a normal meet & greet.

Eagles cheerleader Rachel

Rachel Washburn is an ROTC cadet & will be heading for Airborne school this summer. And the upcoming tour will give her a taste of what to expect in the armed forces:

“This a dream come true to be able to go to Iraq and really give something back to the troops, a family that I am going to be part of in a couple of years, I am just so glad to experience it from this end.”

Protecting Mother Earth, protecting our country - is there anything these fabulous Philly females can’t do?

These women are not true American heroines. In fact I think they are sleezy. I am a military wife waiting for my husbands safe return. I am pregnant with 3 kids at home and miss him everyday. i don’t sleep at night and I have to take care of everything by myself. I think it is terrible that these women think they are doing something good. Your not!!!! What good are you doing dancing almost naked in front of married men who haven’t seen there wives for a long time. How do you think this effects the marriage. It must be nice to see our husbands just because your willing to take almost all your clothes off. I would give anything to see him again. If boosting moral is what you want try sending wives over to see them. Not you. You should not be proud. I along with many others are disgusted by you and others like you.
