Phil Mickelson’s San Diego Home Is On The Market

If you think now is the time to jump into the housing market, and you have an extra $10.75 to $12.25 million burning a hole in your pocket, Phil Mickelson has the place for you.

Phil Mickelson's Rancho Santa Fe Home

Lefty put the Rancho Santa Fe home on the market after moving his family to a bigger home in the same area. It’s a shame when four bedrooms, three baths, and two guest houses sitting on 4.55 acres isn’t big enough.

An aerial photo of the estate shows El Mirlo looking very much like a European villa, Americanized with a swimming pool and huge putting green. It comes with a 1,200-square-foot detached guest villa and a detached studio.

What the photos don’t show is how close last year’s wildfire came to burning the place down. Phil Mickelson had to evacuate his family to their San Diego area beach house for safety. Between Lefty’s hefty price tag and the chance of losing the house to a massive fire, the realty company should have no problems moving this property.
