Cameron Morfit of SPORTS ILLUSTRATED has some inside the ropes dope about Tiger Woods from “Tiger’s one-time texting buddy Mark Calcavecchia.”
“I didn’t really think about it, but in the course of last year he changed his number five times. The last time he did, I said, ‘Man, you change phone numbers more than I change underwear.’”
Calcavecchia is also the only PGA Tour men’s player so far to go on the record about the love life of the world’s most famous golfer.
“I did know of a girl he was seeing in Phoenix. But I didn’t know the time frame. I didn’t know if it was before or after he was married that he was with her. I knew it was close. It was 2004 sometime. I didn’t think much of it then…”
I’ve heard from multiple sources that Woods doesn’t even own a phone these days. Calcavecchia:
“I sent him a couple of texts right after all this stuff started and obviously he didn’t get back to me. I’m sure one of these days out of nowhere he’ll text me and say, ‘This is my new number.’”
After Calcavecchia pulled back the curtain on Woods to Morfit, I’m not so sure about that now.

I don’t think Calcavecchia has to worry about Woods texting him anytime soon after he rats him out. With friends like Calvevechia who needs enemies. BTW, have you seen Cal lately? He needs to push away from the donuts.

Why am I not surprised that Cal changes underwear fewer times than Tiger changes his number? I wouldn’t be surprised if changed as many times than I changed my number…zero.

to keep changing the number makes you wonder if some of his ladies werent harassing. Why else change your number so many times except to stop someone from calling you I don’t think Tiger had to worry about the cost of his minutes and was switching plans to get the best deal.
