“Everyone” Loves the Gators!

Some things never change. When we had Spurrier, we had one of the cleanest programs in the Country. We won title after title and singlehandedly forced the SEC to graduate to the 21st century a bit early.

Then we had Zook and lost 5 games a year, while putting together tremendous recruiting classes, including a number of kids with “issues” or skeletons in the closet, so to speak.

Then Meyer inherited many of those same kids, and turned us around immediately, culminating with SEC and National titles in year #2. Yeah, but he wasn’t really running his spread offense, and was doing all of this with “Zook’s players.”

Then 2 years later, we again hoist the crystal trophy and are the odds on favorite to do so again this season.
What will the complaints and comments be in January this time, when we win our 3rd title in 4 years?

Let me guess: “yeah, but it’s over now. Tebow is gone and Florida will revert back to form.
