OZZIE GUILLEN’S RECIPE FOR JOHAN SANTANA BLOW OUT: Minnesota Twins pitcher Johan Santana poked holes in the White Sox Sunday to the tune of one hit allowed over seven innings in a 3-1 win over Chicago. The 2006 AL Cy Young winner K’d nine in the game and has now won 10 of his last 12 starts against Chicago.

With numbers like that, White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen is getting desperate searching for a way to stop Santana: “I’m going to call my mom in Venezuela to come here and cook for him. We’ll poison him. If he eats what my mom cooks, he will be in trouble to pitch the next day.”
I guess we now know where Ozzie Guillen will be spending this Friday afternoon. And ironically, it won’t be in the company of Bartolo Colon.
