Here’s hoping the Pittsburgh Penguins, already up 3-0 in the series, are able to finish off the Ottawa Senators tonight in NHL playoff action.
Nothing against Daniel Alfredsson & pals personally, but if the Sens continue to present opening introductions like this one, the sooner their season ends, the better:

Well, apparently someone in the Senators PR department just got their special edition DVDs of “300″ and “Gladiator” in the mail. Or was it “300″?
Unfortunately, based on the numerous audio dropouts heard, the team’s new wireless microphone must not have arrived yet - and neither has a gladiator’s helmet that fits.
After witnessing such a pre-game ceremony, it’s no wonder some vandals destroyed a monument to the original Senators club.
*UPDATE*: Ottawa is officially out.
