Another photo of Josefin Lönnborg, the twin sister of Elin Nordegren, surfaced Sunday night - and was identified as Nordegren on a ski vacation in Europe.

As I noted Sunday, Nordegren never traveled to Europe for a ski vacation, despite numerous main media reports to the contrary. All of the photos of her are actually of her twin sister Josefin, who is seen wearing a wedding ring in the above shot and in this photo I posted earlier Sunday.

Sunday night MSNBC’s Courtney Hazlett was the first main media outlet to note the wedding ring, but she claimed that the photos were of Nordegren:
In photos from the skiing trip Elin, for the first time since Woods’ Thanksgiving night accident, is seen wearing what appears to be her wedding rings. A subtle message, but one nonetheless.
ATTN surly commenters: here’s why I posted about this whole thing again…
The Tiger Woods story ran dry weeks ago, and this is the best example I’ve seen so far that illustrates main media and gossips manufacturing intrigue to try to keep interest pumped into the subject until hard news next appears.
That’s why I’ve been taking mostly a pass on it until now.

I’ve stopped paying attention, but don’t you kind of have to give them a pass for getting confused by a twin sister?
Of course, now that they’ve been busted for the mistake, this is kind of a gift for Elin. If she’s getting harassed by the media, she can just scream out, “I’m Josefin!” That should give her a couple hours of peace at least.

The Woods story sucks now. We can believe nothing everyone claims to have a source then we find out it is unconfirmed. Nothing the media reports can be considered legit.
